Pringles Made the 'Perfect Woman' Out of Chips
It's a sequel to the Sabrina Carpenter Super Bowl ad
When will people learn that potato chips are for snacking, not long-term relationships?
Sabrina Carpenter taught us that lesson in Pringles’ well-liked Super Bowl spot. As you’ll recall, she built the “perfect man” made of Pringles. When he fell apart, she ate him.
Now, the brand and BBDO New York return with an encore. No Sabs, just some schlubby dude and his salty, crunch creation: “Pringlelina.”
They wouldn’t go for the same kicker this time, would they?
Of course they would.
It’s amusing, well-acted and lensed with absurdist flair by ProdCo director Thomas Ormonde. (Nice beheading in the park!)
Still, if there’s a chapter three, switch things up a bit. This sort of gag has a limited shelf-life.
