Clio Health Innovators: Micah Chiles, Group Product Director, HCP Professional Promotion, Lung Cancer, Johnson & Johnson
Micah Chiles has built a track record of success across diverse experiences in both Innovative Medicine and MedTech sectors at J&J. Currently, he leads a team that develops short and long-term professional marketing strategies and tactics to maximize RYBREVANT growth and ensure market readiness for a larger portfolio of RYBREVANT + Lazertinib indications. He also leads a cross-functional U.S. Lung Launch Readiness team to ensure that innovative therapies are able to reach patients in need.
How you bring creativity and innovation to your work
I’ve been incredibly blessed to have worked on diverse and inclusive teams throughout my career. One of my core beliefs is that diverse, authentic teams will always deliver better solutions for patients. I take inspiration from my own diverse experience across disease areas, geographies and functions to help our teams find new ways to solve problems.
About a recent project you’re proud of
There have been many J&J firsts and team accomplishments. The most recent was an amazing partnership between our sales, analytics and marketing teams to provide more timely alerts for our field crew to ensure appropriate patient education and a positive treatment experience.
What you’re most excited about right now in the health space
An almost impossible question to answer with the amount of innovation that is happening. If forced to choose, Precision Medicine has shown the potential to transform outcomes for patients by providing more personalized therapies.
What it means to you to be selected as a Clio Health Innovator
A true honor, extremely humbling, and I’m exceptionally grateful for the incredibly talented team that I work with that is laser-focused on transforming outcomes for patients with EGFR-mutated NSCLC.
“Micah is an innovative, analytical, and people-centric leader. His energy is infectious and inspires others to be the best versions of themselves, while creating meaningful and lasting impact for patients.”—Pavan Jagannathan, senior manager, Oncology Marketing at Johnson & Johnson
