“Doubliminal” is not a real word. Still, Mother London uses that term to describe its latest work for KFC. And, heaven help us, it fits.

Spots hype the chain’s Zinger Double Down fillet and hash brown sandwich. We get various pairings—MMA fighters, bunk beds, perfume bottles—that dramatically morph into deep-fried product shots.

Not so subliminal—which is the joke.

And you know what improves commercials? Creepy chanting! It’s designed to make the ads feel “hypnotic,” we’re told.

You can stop chanting now.

Equal parts live action, animation and AI, these quickies satisfy but don’t overstay their welcome.
