A Thieving Monkey Goes on the Lamb for E*Trade
Watch for great stunt work from the spot's human star
Monkeys make everything better. But the shameless simians need to learn boundaries. Below, for Morgan Stanley’s E*Trade, a CGI capuchin swipes a valuable ring. And the chase is on.
Stunt performer Ashton Moio (The Hunger Games, Wrath of Man) excels as a hero dad. Dude basically steals the show with his parkour-inspired moves—including a 20-foot dive into a courtyard.
Ha, ha! Humans from Hollywood rock! Stupid monkeys.
“What makes our ‘More to Love’ campaign truly special is what’s behind the action: The message that E*Trade is better than ever now that it’s running with Morgan Stanley,” CMO Andrea Zaretsky tells Muse.
“For the first time since we’ve joined forces, we’re showcasing how customers can seamlessly manage banking and investing all in one place,” she says. “As we enter a new year filled with possibilities, ‘The Pursuit’ celebrates how clients can now manage their financial lives with E*Trade.”
Jackson Spidell (Avengers: Endgame, John Wick) oversaw the stunts. Nathan Price directed through Park Pictures. 72andSunny New York handled creative development.
