Uncommon, WWF Prescribe Nature to the Harried U.K. Public
Plus: Ecover's Rewear Chair and more Euro delights
Far behind us are the days when doctors would prescribe a brisk walk or a trip to the sea. Or are they? For the World Wildlife Federation, Uncommon prescribes nature to the U.K. public at large. Now, all you have to do is point out some stylish billboards to your HR office, right?
Also from Uncommon, Ecover gives us the Rewear Chair. Inspired by that special chair where we all throw our clothes, the item has way more arms and just generally makes it easier to rewear stuff, thus reducing the environmental impact of overwashing. (Honestly, reusing what’s on the chair at home isn’t our problem. Can somebody help us find all the stuff we never take out of the closet? What’s in there, anyway?)
La Compagnie, an all-business-class boutique airline, is turning 10. Fred & Farid New York leads the celebration with a campaign where children, also 10, helped design a new plane. (Just the outside. We were disappointed they didn’t take the rollercoaster idea on board, or the engines that end climate change.) We’re reminded of Kim Kardashian’s North West-custom Birkin and Angelina Jolie’s wedding dress. Happy 10th.
Kwik Fit and VCCP in London hit us with this very weird piece of work that explains why customers “drive away happy every time.” AdAge says it best: “Throw in a creepy dude with a pink feather, an awkward standoff in a customer’s driveway and a passive aggressive signoff from an older couple, and you have the year’s most unexpected auto-maintenance ad.”
