#WFH Diaries: Emilio Valverde of Serviceplan Spain

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to wreak havoc on everyone’s lives, we are checking in with people in the creative industry to see how they’re doing. Emilio Valverde is executive creative director of Serviceplan Spain. We asked him how he’s holding up during the crisis.

Muse: Where are you living right now, and who’s with you?

In my hometown, a 600-person village, with my husband and my 4-year-old twins.

What’s your work situation like at the moment?

More active than ever.

Teams. Skype. Go to meeting.

What are you reading?

Thousands of coronabriefings.

What are you watching?

Maestros de la Costura, a talent show about fashion designers.

What are you listening to?

Battiato, Dylan, Moustaki, Caetano, Leonard Cohen, Gilberto Gil…

How are you staying fit?

Easy. I just walk from my desk to the fridge and back.

Have you taken up a hobby?

Candy Crush during the whole week. That’s my downfall!

Any tips for getting necessities?

Supermarkets are open here. You just need to take a few security measures.

Third day of quarantine. I woke up. I looked at my family sleeping. All healthy. And I understood a lot of things.
