Snoop Pays Tribute to Tupac With '2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted' Wine

Marking the 30th anniversary of the pair's collab

It’s been 30 years since Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur teamed up on “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted.” Today, Snoop, via his Cali by Snoop brand, released a special wine to pay tribute to his friend and the anniversary of the epic hip-hop collab.

A :90, created by Treasury Wine Estates’ in-house creative agency Splash, features Snoop reminiscing on the pair’s friendship and bond; footage from the 1996 “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted” music video plays behind him. The clip closes with Snoop pouring some wine for his departed friend and creative partner.

As part of the campaign, digital elements from Good Apple is running in 12 cities, and OOH from MilkMoney appears in seven states.

2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted is a red blend with notes of toasty oak, dark fruit, toffee and baking spice. The label was inspired by a moment between the pair from the 1996 VMA Awards.

“It’s been an absolute privilege to work with Snoop Dogg and the Tupac Estate to develop a wine celebrating this historic collaboration, and worthy of two of hip-hop’s greatest Icons,” says John Wardley, SVP of brand, innovation and partnerships at Treasury Wine Estates.
