Killing Clowns Is Fun in Liquid Death Vitamin Collab
Chop the smiles off their painted faces

The latest Liquid Death collab involves sweet dreams of murdering clowns. LD teamed up with vitamin and supplement brand MaryRuth’s Organics, to create Liquid Nighttime Multimineral.
The :60, directed by LD CD Will Carsola, begins with a woman winding down for sleep. Her dream begins with her flying through the sky. When she spies a clown making a balloon animal, she gleefully touches grass, pulls out an axe and gets to killing. Who knew blood was so colorful? As she continues her rampage, this time with a lawnmower, the narrator reminds us that murdering clowns in dreams is completely legal. When the day grinds you down, grind up a clown!
“MaryRuth’s came to us looking to do something together that was a little outside of their standard marketing playbook,” says Andy Pearson, VP of creative at Liquid Death. “We felt like the sleep supplement space could be an interesting space so we settled on reformulating one of their most popular products with Liquid Death Mountain Water.”
The supplement will be available for $24.95 at Walmart and online via MaryRuth’s and Amazon.
The idea of murdering clowns “was something that just naturally came to us as we were working on it,” Pearson tells Muse. “Will told me on set one day that he had an idea he thought was too weird. Which meant I had to immediately hear it. He sang me the chorus, and I told him, ‘That’s it. No need to do any more work.’ And we never considered a single other idea.”
“We spent a lot of time working with some amazing special effects and stunt folks to get the clown blood just right. That was important because our actors ended up covered by gallons of stuff off a giant truck we brought in. It’s a little known fact that clown blood is pink and blue, but hopefully after this a lot more people will be aware.”
