You have a lot to catch up on. Here’s a look back at some of the notable trailers and posters we saw this week.
Where’d You Go, Bernadette

Richard Linklater is back! And guess who’s with him?! Cate Blanchett, Kristen Wiig, Laurence Fishburne and Billy Crudup in the Annapurna Pictures adaptation of Maria Semple’s runaway bestselling novel. The trailer for this corky tale celebrates the importance of unleashing your inner creative. The mystery of Bernadette will unfold this August.
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil

Evil has never looked more fabulous than in the teaser for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. Angelina Jolie reprises her role as the horned fairy in the follow-up to the 2014 Disney Studios hit. The next chapter takes a closer look at the vexed relationship between Maleficent and Princess Aurora (Elle Fanning) as they try to protect their beloved moors. Get ready for a witching hour Oct. 18.

It’s not a happy time for clowns in today’s society, and Chip Basket is feeling the impact as he struggles to keep his dream alive. Will Noodle the Clown prevail? Find out when the FX series returns on June 13.

Euphoria

Midsommar

Festival season is here, but this one might not be what you expected. In the trailer for A24’s new horror film Midsommar, a couple is invited to attend the local festivities of a friend’s small Swedish hometown. Upon arrival, they quickly notice the strange pagan rituals taking place around them. Who doesn’t enjoy a good sacrifice? Join the festivities on July 3.
Beats

Music inspires us all, and that’s what Netflix is celebrating in the trailer for its new original film Beats. Anthony Anderson plays a school security guard and former music manager who takes a special interest in a talented young man. To reach success, the young man must first overcome his paralyzing fear of the violent Chicago streets that recently claimed the life of his sister. Feel the Beats on June 19.
Big Little Lies

We saw the teaser, now the trailer for Big Little Lies has arrived, and it looks juicy! It takes a closer look at the ladies’ lives post-“accident” and shows how the lie they share is becoming quite the internal burden. Plus, we get a taste of Meryl in action. She seems vicious. The lies continue on June 9.
neXt

What happens when the A.I. devices we bring into our homes go rouge? That’s the premise of the new Fox series neXt. And based on the trailer, the capabilities are frightening. Iliza, why do you want to destroy us? Hear her answer this fall.
BH90210

The most famous ZIP code is returning to Fox. In the teaser for the series, we hear the sound of a familiar beat as we enter the homes of Brenda, Brandon, Kelly, Andrea, David and Steve. Dun-na-na-na-dun-dun. It’s back! Noticeably missing from the cast is the late Luke Perry, who played teen heartthrob Dylan McKay. The new series will take a meta approach, examining heightened versions of the characters in a mockumentary style format. Meet ya at the Peach Pit on Aug 7.
Deputy

In another new Fox series, Stephen Dorff plays a cop who makes his own rules. The plot thickens when, by some turn of the law book, he inherits the role of Los Angeles County sheriff. Now he must find a way to tame the wild west. The trailer is a gunslinging good time. Get ready folks, there’s a new sheriff in town.
Mixed-ish

In the hilarious trailer for the new ABC spinoff comedy, we go back to 1985, when Regan was president, Madonna was queen, and DeBarge was the closest thing to a mixed role model. In the spirit of of Black-ish, Mixed-ish tells the coming-of-age story of Rainbow Johnson and sheds humor and light on the complexities of growing up mixed. Get ready to go back in time this fall.
Stumptown

Cobie Smulders is back on ABC with a new series. She plays a retired army veteran who refuses to play by the rules. The trailer, which includes a kickass action sequence, is a full three minutes of fun. Tune in this fall.
Emergence

Also coming to the ABC fall lineup is Emergence. The trailer introduces a sheriff who finds a mysterious child at a plane crash site. Where did the child come from? Nobody seems to know. But it seems she’s more “special” than she’s letting on. Answers will be coming soon to a screen near you.
FBI: Most Wanted

Dick Wolf officially has another series franchise under his belt, this time on CBS. In the first look at FBI: Most Wanted, a spinoff from the hit FBI, we meet the fugitive task force and get a taste of the unique crime-solving tactics that help them save lives. Time to sharpen your hostage negotiation skills.
All Rise

In the spirit of celebrating strong women on the bench, CBS gave us a first look at its new series All Rise. The trailer for the court dramedy offers a charming take on a new kind of caped crusader. Let’s see if justice will prevail this fall.
Black Mirror

The Netflix fan favorite Black Mirror is back with three new twisted stories about the dark potential of technology. The trailer for Season 5 is everything we hoped for and more, with the introduction of the season’s new stars, including Anthony Mackie, Miley Cyrus, Topher Grace and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
