Plus, the return of Downton Abbey

It was another wild week in entertainment marketing! We explored the true philosophical nature of dogs. We learned there is life outside of the Westworld park. And we took a trip to the Manson Family farm. Just another week in Hollywood.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

• Sony Pictures
Agency: Buddha Jones
Poster Agency: BLT Communications

Quentin Tarentino is back with his ninth film, and this time he’s written a love letter to Hollywood. In the new trailer, we get a clearer picture of the plotline. It’s Hollywood in 1969, the end of cinema’s golden era. Fading star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) are trying to make it big. The fairy tale turns dark when Rick discovers his new neighbor Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie), and soon the Manson Family follows. One thing’s for sure—it’s gonna be wild. It’s Tarantino. Also, check out the posters for Rick Dalton’s spaghetti westerns. Kudos to you, Sony. I’m loving this campaign. July 26 can’t come soon enough.
