#WFH Diaries: Audrey Tamic of Proximity Paris

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to wreak havoc on everyday life, we’re checking in with people in the creative industry to see how they’re faring. Here, executive creative director Audrey Tamic of Proximity Paris weighs in.

Muse: Give us a one-sentence bio of yourself.

Audrey Tamic: Before the breakdown, I was an executive creative director at Proximity Paris.

Where are you living right now, and who’s with you?

Trying to stay alive at home, near Paris, surrounded by two wild kids and one husband.

What’s your work situation like at the moment?

Helping a bunch of creatives to remote-work, wherever they are … or may be. Which means finding out in which “No WiFi” zone they decided to lose themselves happened to venture.

Describe your socializing strategy.

I’ve tried a bit of Twitch Sings, but “Coronaoké,” a massive French multi-singer digital karaoke, seems most promising.

How are you dealing with childcare?

My older daughter takes care of the little one. What a blessing.

What are you reading?

“La grenouille qui voulait se faire aussi grosse que le bœuf” (“The Frog Who Wished to Be as Big as an Ox,” a children’s fable).

What are you watching?

Tchoupi would be a fair guess.

What are you listening to?

I don’t. I won’t.

Sing, sing, sing, sing.

Any tips for getting necessities?

I bought a deep freezer before containment. Everything is gonna be OK.
