Doritos Unveils Its 'Crash the Super Bowl' Finalists
Creators of the winning spot receive $1 million and a slot in the game
Voting is now open for the three finalists in Doritos’ Crash the Super Bowl contest. Fans have through Jan. 28 to select their favorite ad. The winning spot airs during the Super Bowl and its creators receive $1 million.
An alien conspiracy theorist is about to have his Doritos abducted in the first spot, created by Dylan Bradshaw and Nate Norell. A bonding session over bold flavors ensues.
“Barbershop,” created by Zach Shenouda and Ryan Robinson, features a Doritos-loving stylist. His cheesy fingers are too much of a temptation for the client, who sucks the stylist’s pinky.
In “Charades,” from Mark Blitch, a dad just doesn’t get the obvious hint when his wife acts out “Doritos” in a game.
The winner will be announced early next month, prior to Super Bowl LIX.
To help determine the finalists, the brand enlisted a focus group of Patrick Mahomes and his teammates Chris Jones, Xavier Worthy and Creed Humphrey.
