Music Creators Sing Janet Jackson's 'Together Again' in New Gap Ad
Celebrating togetherness through song
Gap assembled a chorus of creators to sing an a cappella version of Janet Jackson’s “Together Again” for the brand’s holiday campaign. And it’s music to our ears! Probably yours, too, judging by the love the work—themed “Give Your Gift”— is getting on social media.
Samuel Brady directed the simple, chill video with nine vocally-gifted creators—all looking festive in Gap CashSoft sweaters—performing in perfect harmony.
Among the talent featured: Nyjah Music and Zyah Rhythm, siblings from the north shore of Oahu, who have made a name on social media with covers of Coldplay, Billie Eilish and others; PawPaw Rod, a singer and rapper whose sound combines vintage soul, R&B and funk; and Aneesa Strings, a bassist, vocalist and composer who recorded her first jazz album when she was 13.
Gap has recently gone all in with creators. Recently, we noted the brand’s collaboration with popular TikToker Julia Hyunh to design the perfect hoodie.
