Jingles Don't Lie: 'Teriyaki Fixes Everything'

Even nude sleepwalkers can rest easy

Pop sleepwalks naked through town at night. The rest of the fam refuses to be cool about it. What’s disrobed daddy to do?

Treat ’em to a meal at Teriyaki Madness, what else?

Oh, there’s a song about it, too, penned and performed by Party Land’s Matt Heath and Lexie Papillion.

“It was a hard day for the family
But everything will be OK
‘Cause Teriyaki’s so delicious
They’ll forgive what you did today.”

‘Cmon, jingle—bring it home!

“Teriyaki Madness—
Your wife will forgive you
For sleepwalking through the neighborhood
Wearing nothing but your shoes.”

It’s pretty impressive that he managed to slip those on. Mismatched, but still.

“We take our food seriously, but we don’t take ourselves seriously,” says TM CEO Jodi Boyce. “Party Land helped us create an entertaining campaign that will make people smile—and potentially drool a bit, too.”

Over the wings, maybe. Dad—meh.

“We wanted our song to tell a story and stick in the brains of our audience, while establishing our brand as one that embraces humor and isn’t shy of a little food porn,” says agency creative director Natalia Fredericks.

The work breaks today, supporting the eatery’s 160 locations across North America.
