Hey, It's CeraVe: Bouncy Remix for Brand's Jingle
Superfans make with the moves
Your dry skin has a message for you, delivered with a dance-club beat. But you didn’t see that coming.
@HouseofEvo created a catchy track for CeraVe that mainly consists of the line, “Hey, it’s me—your dry skin.”
Influencers Audrey Trullinger, Kareem Rahma, Greg Berzinsky and Mohamet Mbaye bop to the tune—and moisturize!—in the clip below.
“Recognizing the growing power of fandom, we’re building a stronger brand-consumer connection and a true sense of community,” CeraVe global head of digital and social Kelly Buchanan Spillers tells Muse.
“Our social listening revealed a surge of user-generated content incorporating the ‘Hey, It’s Me’ jingle from our TV commercials, ranging from TV screen karaoke renditions to creative fan edits,” she says. “Embracing the humor and virality of these organic remixes, we saw an opportunity to join the conversation.”
Nema Vand directed through Eva Nosidam Productions. The Sasha Group helped with campaign development.
“Inclusivity was a core principle in developing this campaign,” Spillers says. “Our talent selection for the campaign films reflects a conscious effort to represent multiple generations, diverse skin types and a wide range of ethnicities, ensuring everyone can see themselves reflected in the videos.”
And these are true superfans, we’re told.
“While on set, Becca Miche, who stars in one of the films, had an eczema flair up,” Spillers recalls. “She felt comfortable enough to show it on camera and use it as part of the campaign as she applied the lotion because she is an authentic user and CeraVe is actually what she applies to help treat it.”
Of course, CeraVe scoured major pop-culture points with its 2024 Super Bowl blitz starring Michael Cera. Xochitl Gomez’s turn in a soap opera spoof also proved popular.
