'Goddess' Kim Kardashian Gets a 24/7 Beats by Dre Soundtrack

Comic Ben Marshall co-stars

When you’re Kim Kardashian, the brand-boosting schtick and slick club riffs never end.

First, she memorably battled Jimmy Fallon for a chance to design new Beats by Dre headphones. (It wasn’t a real competition, d’uh.)

Now, she’s hanging out with comic Ben Marshall in a fresh spot hyping the brand’s Pill speakers.

“I’m Kim Kardashian’s Pill assistant,” he proudly proclaims. “I’m like a handsome mobile DJ, providing the perfect track for every room Kim enters.”

Indeed, Ben accompanies her around the clock—on shopping trips and to exercise sessions—spinning tunes from a speaker clutched in each hand.

“My pill is small, but oh it is mighty. And my battery lasts all day!” Um, good to know?

“The only thing deeper than my musical knowledge is my devotion to the goddess I’m privileged to serve,” he concludes, sinking beneath the surface of a swimming pool as his Pills keep cranking out the tunes.

Developed by Mirimar, it’s not nearly as creepy as Kim’s ads for Skims. Though at times it tries. (“Pill assistant” sounds sketch.)

Still, the campy approach provides a neat product demo.

Ben’s perfectly cast as the nerdy super-fan. And Kim’s star power shines. It’s easy to believe she has acolytes who supply fawning high fidelity 24/7/365.

(That last bit of wordplay merits a chorus of “We Are the Champions” if I do say so myself.)
