Emmit Fenn's 'Meteorite' Gets Another Apple Spot Into Our List of Most Shazam'd Ads
Kanye West and Dwele also propel Dior's latest
Every big Apple commercial seems to work its way into our weekly list of the most Shazam’d ads, and “Spectrum” is no exception.
Featuring the track “Meteorite” by Emmit Fenn, the iPhone XR spot has entered this week’s list at No. 3—just below an Apple Watch ad, at No. 2, that’s been out for a few weeks and features the song “Toy” by Young Fathers.
Beats by Dre’s new spot featuring Halsey’s “Without Me” moves up from No. 2 to No. 1 in its second week on the list. Last week’s No. 1 spot, Ulta’s “The Possibilites Are Beautiful” featuring Alessia Cara’s “Scars to Your Beautiful,” is off the list entirely this week—after a seven-week run on the chart.
Elsewhere, Dior’s new spot, with “Flashing Lights” by Kanye West feauring Dwele, makes the list at No. 5. And a new Ford spot from Wieden + Kennedy, which uses Jerry Reed’s 1977 song “East Bound And Down,” debuts at No. 9.
