Samsung Tops Most Shazam'd Ads With Sia, Diplo and Labrinth's Song 'Thunderclouds'

High-profile smartphone unpackings have become showcases for musical tracks, as much as anything else. And Samsung’s new Galaxy Note9 makes good use of the song “Thunderclouds” by Labrinth, Sia and Diplo—who are recording under the name LSD. 

The song has helped Samsung’s new TV spot for the Galaxy Note9 debut at No. 1 on our weekly list of most Shazam’d commercials. 

The other new commercial on this week’s list is LG’s “Poolside” ad, featuring the Black Box track “Everybody Everybody (Le Freak Mix).” That spot debuts at No. 3 on our list.
