Billie Eilish's New Single Anchors ESPN Ad for College Football Playoff Rankings
First promotional spin for 'Therefore I Am'
Billie Eilish and Interscope have a history of working with ESPN to hype college football. Two years ago, a custom remix of the singer’s track “you should see me in a crown” was used in an ESPN college football hype video. And now they’ve teamed up again, ahead of the network’s unveiling of the first College Football Playoff rankings of the season.
On Thursday afternoon, Eilish released her new single, “Therefore I Am,” and a music video for it. At the exact same time, it popped up in ESPN’s new spot hyping the College Football Playoff Top 25 Ranking Show Presented by Allstate, set to air on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at 7 p.m. ET.

“With the first set of College Football Playoff rankings almost here and the CFP debate kicking into high gear, we are thrilled to team up with Billie Eilish once again, with her new single ‘Therefore I Am’,” says Emeka Ofodile, ESPN’s vp of sports marketing. “The song perfectly captures the drama of teams needing to prove themselves down the stretch for a highly coveted spot in the CFP.”
