How you bring creativity and innovation to your work

Innovation is all about the creative use of technology. I am lucky to work with a team of creatives that are convinced that the best ideas are the ones that, executed with simplicity, affect your audience positively. But, most of all, we work with the premise that the best ideas are those which have a purpose.

About a recent project you’re proud of

“Scrolling Therapy” is the project that I’ll be the proudest of for a long time. It allowed me not only to grow professionally, but also to improve the quality of life and to advocate for millions of Parkinson’s patients by bringing us all an app that allows us patients to perform facial exercises—which are a crucial part of our therapy—while we browse social media.

What you’re most excited about right now in the health space

The irruption of AI. Just thinking of the opportunities that it brings to the table is mind blowing! Early diagnosis for complex diseases is closer than ever, thanks to AI. It opens the door for better and more effective treatments for patients and, being one myself, it’s really exciting to be a part of the changes that AI brings to the health space.

What it means to you to be selected as a Clio Health Innovator

Being selected as a Clio Health Innovator is the ultimate recognition. But it wouldn’t have been possible without the work of the most beautiful and talented team that brought ideas like “Scrolling Therapy” to life.

“Sebastián Porta is the inspiration behind Scrolling Therapy, an app that assists millions of people worldwide living with Parkinson’s in performing daily facial exercises that help delay the signs of the disease, particularly those affecting the facial muscles, known as facial masking. Sebastián was diagnosed with Parkinson’s seven years ago, and after witnessing how the disease affected his daily life, he decided to leverage all his influence and power in the advertising industry to work on a solution that would improve people’s quality of life.”—Victoria Nicolini, corporate communications, Dentsu Argentina
