Sony PS5 Turns the City Into a Playground

Oh, the fun you'll have

Sony Interactive riffs on the life’s-a-game trope in fresh spots from adam&eveDDB hyping the PS5.

Developed with Academy Films director Frédéric Planchon, the push includes a zippy :30 that impressively converts urban life into a gigantic game.

A FUN game. Not the actual competitive drudgery city folks so often endure.

In Sony’s vision—laced with Easter eggs—skyscrapers shape-shift, cement steps morph into amusement-park slides and humans leap across high-rise balconies without a care in the world.

That sure beats a typical 7-to-7 at the office.

“Play Has No Limits,” we’re told at the end. It does, however, have a price tag. That would be $379.00 for the PlayStation5 console.

Devendra Banhart’s percussive “I Feel Just Like a Child” amplifies the message. It’s annoyingly seductive, just like so much digital gameplay these days.
