This week in entertainment marketing, we saw the trials of adulting, were reminded of the joys of being a kid (unless of course, you’re a haunted kid) and learned that snakes, no matter their use, are still terrifying. Here’s a look at some of the notable trailers and posters released this week.

Check out the trailer for this uplifting comedy about what happens when we get out of our own way and take control of our life. Based on a true story, this tale about adulting looks like a can’t miss. Run to theaters Aug. 23.
Them That Follow

Warning: This trailer may cause nightmares. Them That Follow tells the story of a Pentecostal community deep in the heart of Appalachia that uses snakes as a cleansing ritual. Need I say more? Olivia Coleman leads the cast. Them That Follow slithers to theaters this August.

O-M-G … this trailer will keep you laughing from start to finish. This is not your average kids’ film—this is like Superbad applied to sixth graders. In fact, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are producers of the film. Laughter is good for the soul, so mark your calendars for Aug. 16.
