Paul Santos began his music industry career forming bands and writing and recording music as part of the thriving SoCal '80s music scene. Highlights included playing club gigs with Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Minutemen, Black Flag and Killing Joke and two releases through Enigma Records. He moved to the business side, holding executive marketing and sales positions with stalwart indie labels Passport, Mesa/Bluemoon, Concord and Ark21, as well as divisions of Rhino, Atlantic and Universal Music, where he art directed 60+ releases. After running his non-trad retail marketing company Melodica for 13 years, Paul continues his lifelong passion for independent music as an account and synch licensing executive for Crucial Music.
