Oreo Made Left-Handed Packs of Cookies for International Left-Handers Day

Sweet vindication for 10% of the population

Obscure, ridiculously specific holidays have been fodder for brands for years, particularly since the advent of social media, which needs incessant feeding. But Oreo is going a step further for International Left-Handers Day today, by actually creating an Oreo pack specifically for left-handed people.

Beginning today, left-handed Oreo fans can sign up at lefthandedoreo.com to receive a limited-edition Oreo pack specifically designed for the 10 percent of the population who is left-handed. The pack has a flap that opens on the right side of the pack, rather than the usual left side. They’re available while supplies last.

Yes, it’s idiotic—but no more so than Left Twix and Right Twix, which enjoyed a surprisingly long run in that candy brand’s marketing.

Check out some videos for the Oreo promotion below.
