Disney Celebrates 45-Year Make-A-Wish Partnership With 'Week of Wishes'

Disney will grant a wish every hour of the day

Disney launched “Drawn to You,” a 2-minute spot from Fallon and filmmaker Goh Iromoto to celebrate its 45-year partnership with Make-A-Wish.

Today, the brand begins its annual “Week of Wishes.” Disney grants a wish every hour of the day—and good on them for making them happen.

The spot follows a young girl who drawing her fave Disney characters before she was sick, while she was sick and afterwards when she meets her fave character at the theme park, where she doodles with Mickey Mouse. Real artwork from EJ, a 16-year-old aspiring animator was used throughout the ad. EJ is a 16‑year‑old liver transplant recipient whose wish was to experience a “day in the life” of a Disney animator, He got the chance to draw alongside animator Eric Goldberg.
