Hasselhoff Riffs on Knight Rider for Rivian
EV maker drives a Halloween promo
For Halloween, your car wants to dress up as KITT the AI car made famous in ’80s fave Knight Rider.
EV provider Rivian makes that happen through a vehicle software update available this week.

You know who’s stoked about these developments? Michael Knight himself—David Hasselhoff.

Even the digital driver display gets a makeover, with All Hallows scenes flashing on screen:
Like Spirit Airlines’ flight with Malcolm in the Middle’s Frankie Muniz, this feels like a wise nostalgia play.

But mostly … the Hoff!
You rock, crazed club DJ, actor with ridiculous range and devoted defender of turtles!
Your self-aware schtick’s a treat any time of year.
