Unless you’re in a commercial for Cushelle. Then, the critter’s just hanging around to hype the t.p. brand’s “selfish softness” and value.

That woman’s scream-y reaction on spying the fuzzball is priceless! (She’s actually in her living room when the little beast appears. But still.)

“Cushelle is one of our most distinctive brands, and Kenny the koala has been its No. 1 fan for years,” says Martina Poulopati, global marketing director at parent firm Essity. “Watching him speak and take on an even cheekier role—as we introduce our softest ever Cushelle Quilted—has been as much fun to make as we hope it will be for people to watch.”

Publicis London and MindsEye director Jim Archer developed the campaign. The work breaks this week across TV and social.
